editorial policy
Last updated: November 1, 2026
This page explains how FitLife Hub plans, researches, writes, checks, and updates its articles, so you know what to expect from our content and what we will not do.
Our purpose
FitLife Hub publishes educational content about chair exercises, senior fitness, mobility, healthy nutrition, and healthy living after 50. We want our articles to be clear, practical, and safe to follow. Our content is general information and is not medical advice. Please read our Medical Disclaimer.
How we research
- We start with a reader need. We choose topics based on questions people commonly have about staying active and eating well after 50.
- We look for reliable sources first. We prefer, in this order: recognized health organizations and public health agencies (for example, the CDC and the World Health Organization), professional guidelines, and peer-reviewed scientific research, including position papers and systematic reviews.
- We treat weaker sources with caution. Social media posts, personal stories, testimonials, and celebrity anecdotes are not evidence. We do not use them as proof for health claims.
- We explain the limits. If research is limited or results differ between people, we say so instead of presenting a guess as fact.
How we write
- We use plain language and explain technical terms.
- We include safety notes, easier options for exercises, and reminders to talk to a doctor where appropriate.
- We avoid promises such as "fast results," "guaranteed," or "cures," and we avoid exaggerated or frightening claims.
- We name the source when we cite research or official guidance, and link to it where possible.
- Articles are currently published under the FitLife Hub editorial team name.
How we check
Before publishing, we check that exercise instructions are safe and understandable, that numbers and recommendations match the sources we cite, and that the article does not make claims we cannot support. Where an article is a plan or a routine, we make clear that readers should adjust it to their own ability and health.
What we do not do
- We do not invent medical facts, studies, statistics, or quotations.
- We do not invent author credentials, qualifications, or certifications.
- We do not claim that an article was reviewed by a doctor, dietitian, physiotherapist, or other expert unless it truly was. When an expert reviews an article, we will name them and say what they reviewed.
- We do not present personal experiences or testimonials that are not real.
Updates
Health guidance changes. We review our articles from time to time and update those that are outdated, unclear, or no longer match the best available sources. When we make a meaningful update, we change the "Last updated" date shown on the article.
Corrections
We want to fix mistakes quickly and openly.
- If you notice an error, an unclear instruction, or an outdated statement, email bdrhmanamrwk@gmail.com or use our Contact page. Please include the article title or address.
- We review each report and check it against reliable sources.
- If the report is correct, we update the article. For a significant correction, especially one that affects safety, we add a short note saying what was changed.
- If an article cannot be corrected reliably, we may remove it.
Sponsored content and affiliate links
Our editorial decisions are independent of advertisers and sponsors. When it applies, we follow these rules:
- Sponsored content. If an article or section is paid for or sponsored, we will label it clearly as sponsored.
- Affiliate links. If a link may earn us a commission when you make a purchase, we will say so near the link or at the top of the article. The price you pay does not change.
- Advertising. We may show ads, including through Google AdSense. Ads are separate from our editorial content and do not decide what we write or recommend. See our Privacy Policy for how advertising and cookies work.
- Products. We recommend a product or service only when we think it is relevant to readers, and we do not make health claims about it that we cannot support.
This policy describes how we work and what we aim for. If you ever think we have not met these standards, please tell us through our Contact page.
